Aside from being tired of people telling you what you should or should not do, you should really try to do at least one of these things during your pregnancy! I promise you won’t regret it and the memories will last you a lifetime.
3 things Every Pregnant Woman Should Try Once
Take a few minutes to forget about all of that tedious stuff, rules and regulations and try one of these out!
Get Your Fill
I don’t suggest doing it every meal, but if you are normally very health conscious, that’s okay, but just this one time, eat your fill. Eat that pint of ice cream by yourself. Go ahead and dig in to that rack of ribs. Eat the last breadstick. You’ll have plenty of time for the rest of your life to watch your food intake. Now is not the time! You’ll sleep great afterwards as well.
Even if massages aren’t your thing, you’ll find some amazing relief in places you may not have known could be relieved. Growing a baby is serious work and it often conveys its message through places that feel stretched beyond measure or areas that seem mushed irreparably. If you’ve gotten to this point in your pregnancy, don’t spend another minute urging your baby to be born. Get up and head to your local massage expert and let professional fingers work out those kinks. Not only will you feel immediate relief but the effects can be lasting and relaxing in the end stages of your pregnancy can definitely be a great way to prepare your body for the birth.
Look, we know you’re not a shady person, so don’t let that phase you. But if you just heard the quick blip of police sirens behind you and notice you were going ten over, now might be the time to work that big belly for what it’s worth. And that’s sympathy. If you ask an honest cop who they are most likely to let go on a minor traffic offense, they’ll say pregnant women. Why? Well, I’m not law enforcement but I know a pregnant lady always has the power to make me smile. I guess it’s the same with the police, except that smile = a gentle chiding instead of a couple hundred dollar ticket.
Don’t be afraid to take those seats offered to you on the bus, either. There’s not a thing wrong with taking other human beings up on the small kindnesses you’ll find extended to you as your belly expands. One day you’ll be able to return the favor to an ungainly pregnant lady, and so you should!
